How to Post on Craigslist Nationwide
So you want to post on Craigslist Nationwide, but your ads keep getting flagged and deleted?
When you understand what Craigslist was made for you, you will understand why you are having so much trouble posting to multiple cities on Craigslist Nationwide.
How Craigslist Works
When Craigslist was created it was only intended for people to visit the site and post to Craigslist locally. What that means is if you live in North Jersey you only can post to North Jersey. People still don’t understand this. I know it is hard to comprehend because Craigslist does a very poor job explaining this.
When you open up Craigslist on the top right you will see “Nearby CL”. This is about what you can get away with as far as posting outside of your area. Your cities will look different depending on where you live. You will see a picture to the right for an example.
This means you can post in your local city and the cities listed in nearby cl.
Posting Outside Your City
If you want to post outside your city you need to change your ip address with a VPN for Craigslist. What this does is change your computers ip address so Craigslist will think you are in a different city. So if you live in New York and you want to post in Los Angles, the virtual private network will change your location NY to LA.
The easiest VPN for Craigslist I find to use is Hide My Ass.
Craigslist Nationwide Posting Mistake
Posting on Craigslist Nationwide is VERY difficult! If you are having trouble posting locally and in your surrounding area, master that before you move on to multiple city posting. People make this mistake of all the time. You may not need to post Nationally, but if you do make sure your ads stay live before you move on to Nationwide posting.
