The way I am going to show you in this blog happens to work best for Craigslist.

Why Change Your IP?

You may be thinking ‘why do I need to change my ip address?’ Well, if you are experiencing a lot of flagged and deleted ads on Craigslist you really need to start over. The first step in starting over is changing your ip. This is because you want Craigslist to see you as a new user and new account or else they will keep flagging and deleting your ads. There are many reasons why this happens to your ads. The biggest reason is over posting. Most of time Craigslist does this automatically by software.

So, if you are someone that needs to change your ip and start over, this blog will really help you. What you need to do is change your mac address on your router. Don’t worry it is very easy to do. Watch the video below for step by step instructions.

The router I used in the video was a Linksys router. Linksys routers let you change the mac address. Be careful which router your using because not all routers will let you change the mac address.

Click here for a link to the same brand router I used in this video.

Something to keep in mind, his is truly the best way to change your ip address. Nothing is going to give you a better ip than the equipment you personally own. Lastly, this will only work for local and surrounding city posting on Craigslist. If you need to post Nationwide this will not work. That is a whole different topic.
