3 Pillars of Belief in Network Marketing

A person with belief is a person with power. How do you expect people to follow and listen to you if you don’t have belief.

The Definition of Belief

a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing.

There are two types of people in this industry, those who think they can become a success in MLM and those that think they cannot.  Guess what they are both right. Here is a great quote by Henry Ford.

“Whether you think you can, or think you can’t — you’re right.” ~Henry Ford

3 Important Beliefs to Have in Network Marketing

All of these beliefs must be ROCK SOLID in order for you to succeed! I will share some personal experiences on each to help you see my beliefs and help raise yours.

1. Belief in Network Marketing Right before I joined MLM, I was working for a company that most would think is doing very good. There was 100’s of employees, overtime, benefits, bonuses ext. 5 years later, that company is non existent! Am I running around saying bad things about that company and it’s a pyramid scam. No it is what it is!  Think about your neighborhood for a second. Do you see companies come and go? Of course you do, sometimes it happens in network marketing. It doesn’t mean it’s a scam you just have to find the right company for you. Sometimes it takes a couple.

2. Belief in Your Company This is how I build my belief. The fastest way to build belief in your company is to PLUG-IN! Become a product of the product. Use your companies product. Attend all events local and national. If there is no weekly meeting in your area, create one. Listen to audios and conference calls, watch webinars and videos. Lastly, I would find a work out partner and have someone that had success in your company help you with accountability, 3-way calls and training.

3. Belief in Yourself Start with your attitude, thoughts and actions.  At first I didn’t understand this, but if you are not getting results you don’t need the training you have to repair this first than get the training. Turn off the TV and radio and watch and listen to audios and videos from your company and someone you admire in the self-development arena. Read a book on network marketing, leadership, goals, attitude ext. If you are new to this start with reading 10 pages a day 5 to 6 days a week. What do you think about when you are alone this is very important. For the next week when you are alone, write down your thoughts. You will be shocked at the stuff you waste your time thinking about. It is hard to get rid of all that thinking but if you mediate it helps eliminate some of that thinking.  Start with 5 to 1o minutes a day. Do a Google search and find one that you like.
